I moved to United Stated in mid  2006, from Indonesia, it was uneasy to find a way to create any new artwork until the end of 2008, when a big tree in the back yard can not resist winter gusty wind and  fell, and from that moment, beside giving me abundant art material up to now also I found my process slightly changing,  from imagining and visualize creation then find materials, to observe the availability of materials around then make something out of it. This process include cleaning the yard, climbing ivy needs to trim constantly, so with pine tree, cedar, willow and the thriving big tree I still do not know its name. As I hold and cut branches, my mind wondering to what might come from it.

That slight change is mainly in sculpture process, with 2D works, still continuing old habit, what in mind comes first then find materials.

All works posted here are done in united State.
